Well, if we talk about Ericsson, the company has partnered with Bharti Airtel telecom company to bring 5G technology to the Indian market. Well, that simply means that Ericsson will work with Airtel to create a roadmap for the evolution of 5G technology in the Indian scenario. The partnership shouldn’t be taken as a surprise as Ericsson has already partnered with Bharti Airtel to bring its 4G infrastructure in India. However, what looks confusing is, Airtel had also partnered with Nokia to work in the same field. According to the reports from NDTV Gadgets, a few days ago, Ericsson carried its first live 5G end-to-end demo using 5G test bed and 5G NR Radio in India. Ericsson had managed to deliver a throughput of 5.7Gbps and ultra-low latency of 3 milliseconds. Ericsson estimates that by 2026, 5G technology will enable a $27.3 billion revenue potential for Indian telecom operators. Ericsson says “The largest opportunity will be seen in sectors like manufacturing, energy, and utilities followed by public safety and health sectors,” So, what do you think about this?
